Fair Employment Practices
CARP Growers members employ 500 agricultural workers in Carpinteria Valley. It’s a major part of the local workforce. Employees in the cannabis industry earn higher wages compared to other areas of the agricultural sector and can count on consistent scheduling. Cannabis workers don’t experience employment gaps due to seasonal harvests. Each CARP Growers member farm has a responsive human resources department and provides vacation pay.
