Our Happy Place! Lifelong farmers, the VW Bros, on Our Happy Place! Lifelong farmers, the VW Bros, on the mic, raising funds for Compassionate Care of Carpinteria, a Hospice of Santa Barbara initiative. These orgs put resources, expertise and compassion toward end-of-life experience, for both the chronically ill and families navigating the difficulty of loss. Cannabis as medicine is playing a more and more prominent role in pain management and anxiety relief for Hospice Care. CARP Growers is a proud partner for orgs that support quality of life and programming that makes life better for everyone living on the Santa Barbara Coast. #sbgrown #sbcoast
Commercial Cannabis Production on the Santa Barbar Commercial Cannabis Production on the Santa Barbara Coast is all about Cultivating Excellence. Carpinteria Valley, the agricultural valley we call home, is a uniquely special place. Farmers and neighbors have an important job protecting and improving this slice of coast. Securing farming for the future with a viable crop like cannabis goes a long way to keeping Carpinteria as a picture-perfect little Mayberry By the Sea. Ag lands buffer the area against overdevelopment and preserve one of the last true California beach towns. #sbgrown #sbcoast
We don’t like to think about End of Life Care an We don’t like to think about End of Life Care and Bereavement, but these services are essential to all of our lives. CARP Growers is a sponsor of the Compassionate Care of Carpinteria Luncheon on Wednesday, August 10, and proud to partner with CCC and Hospice of Santa Barbara for gifting our communities with light, care and support to see us through every stage in life. Join the Luncheon at @rinconbeachbar next week to help fund these important services in the #Carpinteria Community. #CARPGrowers #SBGrown #SBCoast @hospiceofsb
Hang out for a minute. Learn about CARP Growers. I Hang out for a minute. Learn about CARP Growers. Image 1 is #rinconpoint, world-famous surf spot and the skies above draw hang-gliders from all over. This is our front yard. It’s the little things that matter and make sustainable commercial farming possible. Image 2 is a barcode. All plants are tracked, traced and tested in the regulated state market — all with these tags and barcodes. Product is tested to parts per billion for pesticides before hitting the market. Image 3 is a pouch of mites (good bugs!). They slip out through a tear in the package and seek and destroy bad bugs. (Remember the pesticide restrictions?) The good bugs allow for minimal pesticide use — most conventional sprays are barred all together and applying them kills all the good and bad bugs (No thanks!). Greenhouse commercial cannabis production is sophisticated and sustainable, and we make sure of it, because Image 4 is where we are. Life on the Santa Barbara Coast under the Carpinteria Valley Sun deserves the best. We Cultivate Excellence. #CARPGrowers #SBGrown #SBCoast
Much of our work over the past 4-plus years has be Much of our work over the past 4-plus years has been to build understanding for the commercial cannabis farming industry in our Growing Region. This hometown newspaper inclusion says a lot about how far we’ve come. “Love it or hate it, pot looks to be here to stay in the Valley, creating a new job sector and inspiring new trends in cooking, art and culture.” We Love the Love part of it, and don’t think there’s a lot to hate about life on the Santa Barbara Coast under the Carpinteria Valley Sun. #CARPGrowers #SBGrown #SBCoast @coastalviewnews
